1. Who we are

Peekout is operated by CoreStack Teknoloji. For any privacy question you can reach us at privacy@corestackteknoloji.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, and your name or profile details when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Authentication data: one-time passcodes (OTP) sent to your email, and sign-in tokens from Google or Apple.
• Device information: operating system and version, device model, and general security status used to calculate your Security Score.
• Push notification token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token so we can deliver security alerts to your device.
• Network scan data: information about devices on your local Wi-Fi network (such as IP addresses and open ports) gathered during a spy-camera scan. Scanning runs on your device and only the results needed for analysis are processed.
• Breach and dark-web monitoring data: the email addresses you choose to monitor.
• Subscription data: your subscription tier, trial and renewal status, and the purchase token provided by the app store. We do not receive or store your card or payment details.

3. How we use your information

• To detect hidden or malicious apps, spyware, and stalkerware on your device.
• To scan your local network for unauthorized cameras and surveillance devices.
• To check your chosen email addresses against known data-breach and dark-web sources and alert you to exposures.
• To provide encrypted DNS (DoH/DoT) and WireGuard VPN protection for premium subscribers.
• To send push notifications about threats, breaches, and account activity.
• To manage your account, subscription, and 7-day free trial.

4. How we protect your data

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using AES-256.
• Any breach passwords matched for you are stored encrypted at rest and are never shown in clear text.
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure storage.
• We apply the principle of least data: we keep only what a feature needs to work.

5. Third parties we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with the providers that make Peekout work:

• Firebase (Google): push notification delivery and sign-in.
• Apple and Google app stores: processing your subscription purchases and billing. Payment is handled by the store, not by us.
• LeakRadar: checking your monitored email addresses against breach and dark-web datasets.
• Google and Apple Sign-In: verifying your identity when you choose those sign-in methods.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, including monitored emails, scan history, and device records, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or billing obligations.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access: view the data Peekout holds about you inside the app.
• Delete: permanently delete your account and associated data from Profile → Delete Account.
• Control monitoring: add or remove monitored email addresses at any time.
• Manage subscription: start, cancel, or change your plan through your app store account.
• Notifications: turn off push notifications in your device settings.

8. Children

Peekout is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Peekout evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
